Transformational vs. Transactional Collaboration

One thing I have been thinking about is the different types of collaboration.  Specifically, the difference between transactional collaboration and transformational collaboration.  So far here is what I have:

Transactional collaboration

• Necessary for survival
• Exchanging tests/worksheets/quizzes
• Developing a schedule
• No response needed

Transformational

• Looking at objective student data
• Looking at student work 
• Asking questions to which there might not be an answer?
• Theory and practice together
• Communication 
• Being open to being wrong (or at least not perfect)
