Radio Lab's Trust Engineers podcast - How Facebook can experiment on people's wellbeing
Radio Lab About Speed of Data and Algorithms - What role did an algorithm have in the financial market collapse? Also touches on the physical Internet.
Computer or Human? + Thad - an Invisibilia episode about human and computer interaction.
Bit Flip - Radio lab episode that blew. my. mind. It is all about how space rays "flip" bits on electronic devices unintentionally. When it comes to thinking of impact of storing things in binary, this episode makes it really obvious.

Videos
The Coming Swarm from 60 minutes - About automation in the military
The Human Face of Big Data - this is a PBS video which was really well done. It is a bit dated but I think it is still relevant. It uses great data visualizations to show how data is used to for companies to make predictions and who owns the data.

  1. Did you continue with your interactive notebooks with your AP CSP class or did you decide to ditch them after a year or two? I've done notebooks in my math classes before but not my AP CSP class. I feel like having the information to reference in a notebook would be helpful for certain topics.

Would you be willing to share the interactive notebook resources that you created for AP CSP?
